Housework is Valuable

This is a data journalism project on China's first Housework Compensation Bill.

I undertook the main technical responsibilities in this project, including web design and development, data mining, and visualization.

You will experience the challenges of being a full-time parent on the website through various means, including infographics, interactive games, micro-documentaries, and audio. The goal is to raise public awareness of the plight of fulltime parents and to call for improvement of China's legal system.

This project has won:

• 2021 Top 9 Outstanding Data Journalism Case, People's Daily Online

• 2021 National Third Prize, The 6th China Data Journalism Competition
